When Hurricane Ida (later downgraded to a tropical storm) tore through the region, one of our client’s main school properties was devastated. Two to three feet of standing water filled the building, remaining there for days. The humidity and rot that followed destroyed nearly every piece of technology inside.

• Servers, switches, wireless access points — gone.
• Structured cabling — ruined.
• Key card access, surveillance systems, PA, and classroom technology — all lost.
• Every projector, desktop, and even the Chromebook carts were rendered unusable.

The school’s IT infrastructure was wiped out completely. That’s when we stepped in.

Within hours, we were on-site assessing the damage and developing a recovery plan. We didn’t just rebuild — we reimagined.

Our team ran entirely new structured cabling, deployed new network infrastructure, and replaced every classroom computer with a laptop-based model so that in the event of another storm, technology could be moved to safety. We rack-mounted all new switches, servers, and access points, and — learning from the disaster — placed critical components and battery backups at the top of the rack, safely out of reach of any future flooding.

But the work didn’t stop there.

With the building uninhabitable, three schools that shared the property had nowhere to go. So we transformed a vacant retail building into a fully functional educational environment. We:

• Built partition walls to create classrooms
• Ran temporary structured cabling
• Set up a wireless network from scratch
• Deployed mobile Internet to ensure immediate connectivity
• Installed switches, access points, and core networking gear for long-term use

Within days, students and staff were back online and back to learning — safely and securely. Months later, when reconstruction of the primary site was complete, we didn’t just restore what was lost — we elevated it.

The rebuilt school now stands as a beacon of modern technology, featuring:
